DID YOU KNOW THAT...

1. APPROXIMATELY 2 MILLION CHILDREN IN UGANDA HAVE BEEN ORPHANED BY CIVIL WAR AND THE AIDS EPIDEMIC.
2. 15 MILLION CHILDREN HAVE LOST ONE OR BOTH PARENTS TO AIDS.
3. HALF THE POPLATION OF UGANDA IS UNDER THE AGE OF 15.
4. THERE ARE MANY WHO DO NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY OR CLEAN WATER.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.  It means so very much to both of us, we have always dreamed of helping Africa in some significant and tangible way.  This is a once in a lifetime mission for us, and we hope that we can represent you too!!!

Our church, Oasis Christian Center, has partnered with the Watoto Ministries to fight the devasting impact of AIDS & poverty on the people of Uganda.  This Christmas, Oasis will bring Christmas presents to over 2,000 orphans.  In addition, the Oasis Christian Center will support the Watoto Ministries with monies for the construction of a much needed classroom for the children.

We want to be among those volunteers lending a helping hand, but we each have to raise $3,500 - that's $7,000 for the two of us BY SEPTEMBER 25TH in order to go.  We need your help to sponsor us.  Please do your best, but really no amount is too small.  PLEASE HELP US SO THAT WE CAN HELP OTHERS.
